Yvette M Goldurs, LISW-S
Yvette is an independently licensed social worker with supervision designation. She earned her Masters degree from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, CWRU, where she also earned her certificate in gerontology. Yvette provides professional counseling services to adults, couples, and families.
Yvette's primary areas of treatment include grief, trauma, and loss. Yvette also helps clients to address other mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, codependency, end of life issues, cancer diagnosis, and issues surrounding infertility and adoption. Yvette has a special interest in the military community, helping both those who have served and their families.
Yvette is currently working on her certification in EMDR, an effective treatment for trauma. Yvette is trained in IADC (Induced After Death Communication) therapy. Yvette has recently introduced neurofeedback to her practice.
Yvette is a member of EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association) and ISSTD (International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation).
